Participation in the Amiga Forums

To participate in the AmigaForums, you simply need to be registered. We understand that you are entitled to registering the user name you desire; nonetheless you are not entitled to impersonating another person or entity in any manner or for any reason.

The AmigaForums Owner's Rights

The AmigaForums Staff do not pre-screen any content that is posted on the AmigaForums Web Forums. At the same time, We have a team of moderators who are entitled to remove or edit any content you post, should it be deemed in violation of the terms of usage provided herein or of the letter & spirit of any other related documents provided by Maktoob.

Your Obligations

• You are expected to refrain from using any language that is considered improper, obscene, harassing, discriminatory in nature, vulgar, offensive, libelous or the like.

• You are expected to fully respect the multiculturalism of the Internet; in other words you shall respect others who are using the AmigaForums, regardless of their nationality, race, origin, gender, beliefs or the like.

Posting Content

• The content you post on AmigaForums is at your own risk. The AmigaForums Organisation does not necessarily endorse this content. However, We (The AmigaForums Group) reserve the right to utilise this content in any manner it desires.

• We expect that you are the sole owner of the legitimate rights on any content you post on the AmigaForums. Thereupon you are not permitted to post any content that infringes upon the legitimate proprietary rights of others.

• Please be aware you are liable for the content (or materials) that you place upon the AmigaForums website.

• You are not permitted to post or upload materials (or Hyperlinks) that contain unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or marketing, promotional materials, junk mail, spamming, chain letters, pyramid schemes or the like.

• You are not permitted to post or upload materials (or Hyperlinks) that contain viruses or that are coded in a way that might interrupt, disrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware or telecommunication equipment.

• You are not permitted to advertise for, or to ask for warez or pirated material of any sort.

• Your user profile and posts must be made in English. This is in no way meant to be racist, etc., but is for admin purposes - sometimes it's impossible for us to translate the posts (so we know that they do not contain any spam, or other material that is against our Terms and Conditions), and we may just not have the time to do so. User profiles and posts made in languages other than English may be deleted or modified without prior notification.
